1， Play the video:《疯狂动物城》
1,What’s in the forest?(PPt出示森林图片)
T：Yes. There are some plants, insects, animals in the forest. And life in the forest is colourful. Today we will know a new friend in the forest.
T: It’s a riddle. Guess, what is it?(播放谜语录音，教读Snail)
3,Enjoy some pictures about snail.
T:What do you think of the snail?
T:（教硬壳）Look, the snail has a hard shell ,so it climbs slowly.
T:Someone thinks the snail is small , ugly. It just climbs slowly. But I like the snail.

Q2.What’s the snail‘s dream?
Who does the snail meet on the way to his dream?
T: Listen to the tape and order the pictures.
T: Who can tell me the right order?（板书张贴：生回答完，在树的相应位置张贴动物）
T：What do you think of the m?parrot?giraffe?(板书张贴：生回答完，分别贴这些动物的优势)
What do they think of the snail's dream?
T: They don’t believe the snail can get to the top of the tree. Why?

4, Listen and read
（1）T：Now, show me your thumbs. And overturn your thumbs.(板书张贴蜗牛沿着树向上爬遇到猴子)
T：Overturn your thumbs now.(指导读蜗牛的话时，学生对着自己正大拇指，其他动物倒大拇指)
T：Will the snail climb up or come down?Does he give up?(强调蜗牛说的话Perhaps I can’t , but I’d like to try.)
